Welcome to Creative Sprouts!

Hello! My name is Kayla Tiscione, recently married, so most people know me by Kayla Cowell. I am very excited to begin this journey with you in beginning your child's educational career. I truly believe that a child's journey into educational success begins at the early ages of 6-weeks to 5 years old. I look forward to getting to know you all. In the meantime, here is a little bit about my center and myself!

I graduated from The State University at Cobleskill in 2014 with a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. After receiving my degree, I began to venture into a few different fields with the sole priority being the safety and wellness of young children. I have worked as a Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten teacher, a Waiver Service Provider for children in our Foster Care system and most recently as a Director of childcare.  Over the years working in different fields, my heart remained in Early Childhood Centers. It has always been a dream of mine to create a place where all children are accepted and feel welcomed. Over the past few years, I worked hard to create my vision of what an early childhood center should look like. My mission for Creative Sprouts is to lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning by providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for young minds. My directors and teachers are all trained and dedicated to fostering curiosity, creativity and a love for learning in all of our young learners.

I am so happy for your family to become a part of mine here at Creative Sprouts! I look forward to creating relationships with every family that walks through my door when starting their child's educational career!

Education

2011-2014

Bachelor of Science:

Early Childhood Education

I attended SUNY Cobleskill in 2011, where I studied Early Childhood Development: Birth-5 years old. During my time studying to become an early childhood educator, I found a passion for working with our youngest learners. While attending school, I worked as an Assistant Director at our local childcare center and knew that child care was where I was supposed to be!
